The IPEAD Chair Mu-Jeong Kho's (Academic Affiliation: University College London) Presentation of conference paper at the International Conference on Economic Theory and Policy of the Japanese Society for Post-Keynesian Economics (JSPKE), held at Meiji University, Tokyo, Japan, has been successfully completed.

This year the JSPKE’s conference is held jointly with the French Association of Political Economy (AFEP) and other heterodox economic associations at Meiji University, Tokyo, Japan from the 15th to 17th of September [1]. Mu-Jeong Kho (academic affiliation: University College London) has successfully completed the presentation of his conference paper on the first day of the conference (September 15, 2019) [1][2][3].

The international conference led by the JSPKE at the Meiji University is quite well-organised, with leading economists and practitioners in the field of French Regulation theory such as Professor Robert Boyer (Institut des Amériques, France), in the field of Post-Keynesian economics such Professor Marc Lavoie (Université Paris 13 and University of Ottawa) as well as many leading Japanese economists working on the heterodox economics such as Professor Takashi Yagi of Meiji University (who is also an excellent organizer of the Conference), and Professor Hiroyasu Uemura (Yokohama National University, Japan) who is the Chair of the Session C of the Conference, for Mu-Jeong Kho’s presentation [2][3].

Mu-Jeong Kho particularly feels great honour to see Professors Robert Boyer, Marc Lavoie, and Hiroyasu Uemura who sat on Mu-Jeong Kho’s presentation, and furthermore their deeper questions, comments, and discussion are quite helpful for the presenter, Mu-Jeong Kho.

This international conference is quite well-organised with full of intellectuality, and so highly recommended to all others worldwide if she or he is working on the tradition of ‘heterodox economics.’  The international conference in 2020 will be held in around 18-20 September 2020, Meiji University, Tokyo, Japan.
